Montenegro, by confirming the economic cooperation agreement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has only gained the opportunity to develop projects, stated Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, adding that significant work still lies ahead.
“By confirming the economic cooperation agreement with the UAE, Montenegro has only secured the chance to develop projects in tourism, energy, infrastructure, and IT, thereby attracting major investments. The ratification of the agreement is just a small step—now the real work begins,” Spajić wrote on the social media platform X.
He added that new investments, where desirable, will drive economic growth, leading to significantly higher wages, better jobs, and increased state revenue. This, in turn, will improve healthcare, education, roads, and security.
“We are confident that through open social dialogue and with the consent of local communities, we will jointly identify the best development projects for the benefit of all Montenegrin citizens. To be eternal, it must be excellent and prosperous,” Spajić emphasized.
