Ministry of Economic Development launches funding programs to boost competitiveness and craftsmanship

The Ministry of Economic Development has invited micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, as well as entrepreneurs, to apply for funding under the Program for Improving Economic Competitiveness. The application platform will open tomorrow at 10 a.m.

The program includes three lines of financial and non-financial support focused on production capacities in the food industry, women’s entrepreneurship, and sustainable health development. The total budget allocated for this program is €3.5 million, with specific amounts and distribution details defined within each program line.

The deadline to submit applications is June 23 by 3 p.m., while final reports and refund requests for approved activities must be submitted by November 15 by 3 p.m., unless otherwise specified.

Additionally, the Ministry announced a public call for participation in the Craft Development and Promotion Program, encouraging craftsmen to apply. This program aims to support the development of Montenegrin crafts through financial assistance for purchasing equipment, tools, and materials. It also seeks to encourage unregistered craftsmen to legalize their business activities.

The total budget for the Craft Development Program is €300,000. The deadline to apply is October 1, and the deadline to submit final reports with documentation is November 1.
