Berane Municipality negotiates extension for temporary structures to support local businesses and Lidl’s arrival

Final negotiations are underway between Lidl representatives and the owners of temporary structures regarding the extension of the deadline for their removal until October 1, allowing them one more business season, said Đole Lutovac, the Mayor of Berane.

Lutovac stated that the Municipality of Berane is ensuring a fair transition for temporary structures, RTCG reports.

He emphasized that the municipality will support business owners during the relocation process as much as possible, taking their needs and activities into account.

“Our goal is to manage this process responsibly and strategically, ensuring Lidl’s arrival while preserving the local business community. Berane is moving forward with development, creating space for major investments and better conditions for its citizens,” the mayor concluded.
