In November 2024, households in Montenegro consumed a total of 132,153,434 kWh (kilowatt-hours) of electricity, marking a 31.89% increase compared to October 2024. When compared to November 2023, the consumption was 8.30% higher, according to a statement from EPCG.
The average electricity bill for households across Montenegro in November, excluding readings from meters in properties that are not permanently inhabited, was 37.35 euros. The lowest average consumption was recorded in Žabljak, where households spent an average of 21.12 euros, while Podgorica saw the highest average consumption, with households spending 45.44 euros on electricity.
According to EPCG, 58.68% of households will receive a bill of up to 30 euros, while 16.26% of consumers will be billed between 30 and 50 euros. For 18.58% of customers, the bill will range from 50 to 100 euros and 6.49% of consumers will have a bill exceeding 100 euros.
Additionally, 179,180 consumers, or 44.93% of households in Montenegro, received a discount on their electricity bills, as reported by EPCG.
