Government to propose new economic measures after “Limited Price” action ends

After the “Limited Price” initiative expires tomorrow, Montenegro’s Ministry of Economic Development will propose new measures, which are expected to come into effect on May 15, announced Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development, Nik Đeljošaj.

According to Đeljošaj, this new support initiative will cover specific products, primarily from domestic producers, in order to encourage local and agricultural production, while also supporting economic activities and stimulating tourism.

He further stated that the Government of Montenegro, led by the Ministry of Economic Development, is actively working on creating measures to preserve citizens’ living standards.

In this context, the government has launched and repeatedly extended the “Limited Price” initiative, which includes over a thousand products.
