Montenegro mobile phone users decrease by 4.77% in November, M:tel leads market share

As of the end of November, Montenegro had 1.47 million mobile phone users, a decrease of 4.77% compared to October.

This number corresponds to a mobile penetration rate of 236.51%, according to the report by the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP).

Compared to the same period in 2023, the number of users in November increased by 7.51%.

Postpaid users made up 55.55% of the total, while prepaid users accounted for 44.45%.

In terms of market share, M:tel had the largest number of users with 596,880 (40.7%), followed by Crnogorski Telekom with 518,450 (35.35%) and One with 351,120 (23.95%).

Among prepaid users, M:tel held 47.23%, Crnogorski Telekom had 29.56%, and One accounted for 23.2%.

For postpaid users, Crnogorski Telekom had 39.99%, M:tel held 35.48% and One accounted for 24.54%.
