Tender procedures for leasing beaches along the Montenegrin coast are nearing completion, with 95% of applications processed so far, according to Milan Kovačević from the PR department of the Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management.

Kovačević stated that no beaches were leased at the starting price this year, and annual revenue is expected to reach nearly €35 million. Of all leaseholders, 60% are returning, while 40% are new.

Specifically in the Budva Riviera, 122 beaches were offered through tender, and contracts have already been signed for 90% of them. He added that only around 5% of decisions remain pending, but public calls for those remaining beaches have already been announced.

Most lease agreements have been finalized, and all conditions and decisions are publicly available on the enterprise’s website.
