Montenegro recognizes France as key partner in EU integration path

France has been recognized as one of Montenegro’s key partners on its path to EU integration, stated Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Milun Zogović.

Zogović met today with the Head of the Regional Economic Department for the Western Balkans, Pierre Grangeon, and the Ambassador of France to Montenegro, Anne-Marie Maske.

According to the press release, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Montenegro and France, particularly in infrastructure projects.

The discussion also included potential opportunities for French investments in key projects in Montenegro, as well as support through the exchange of knowledge and experience in modernizing infrastructure.

Zogović emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two friendly countries.

“France is recognized as one of Montenegro’s most important partners on the path to EU integration. French investments are welcome in Montenegro, as they not only improve the economic environment but also send messages of stability and a favorable investment and business climate,” Zogović concluded.
