Montenegro registers 487 yachts, showing significant increase in ownership

According to the latest data from the Maritime Safety and Port Management Administration, Montenegro has registered a total of 487 yachts by February 28th of this year. This marks an increase of about 74 yachts compared to 2024, when there were 413 registered.

Out of the total number, Montenegrin citizens own 108 yachts. They are followed by citizens of Serbia and Russia, with 103 and 89 yachts respectively. There are 12 yacht owners from the USA, and 11 from Ukraine.

Other yacht owners include 8 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 7 from Germany, and 6 from Switzerland. Additionally, 5 owners each come from France and the UK, and 4 from Estonia and Israel.

There are also 3 yacht owners from Cyprus, and 2 each from Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Australia, the Netherlands, Latvia and Seychelles.

Furthermore, one yacht owner each comes from Albania, the United Arab Emirates, Armenia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Canada, Egypt, Finland, Georgia, Hong Kong, Croatia, Italy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Moldova, the Marshall Islands, Malta, Norway, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, Vanuatu and South Africa.
