At the end of March, Montenegro had 1.35 million mobile phone users, showing a 0.91% decrease compared to February, according to the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP).
Despite the monthly decline, the number of users in March represented a penetration rate of 217.25%. Compared to the same month last year, the number of mobile users increased by 5.24%.
Postpaid users made up 60.95% of the total, while prepaid users accounted for 39.05%.
Among mobile operators, M:tel had the highest number of users with 569,280, or 42.02% of the total. Crnogorski Telekom followed with 466,010 users, or 34.39%, while One had 319,580 users, or 23.59%.
In the prepaid segment, M:tel held 50.96% of the market, Crnogorski Telekom 26.69%, and One 22.35%.
For postpaid services, Crnogorski Telekom had the largest share at 39.33%, followed by M:tel with 36.29%, and One with 24.38%.
