President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, has called on all members of the Montenegrin Parliament to consider the arguments previously presented by representatives of the civil sector, heads of relevant state agencies, and local government officials when voting on the Tourism and Real Estate Development Agreement between Montenegro and the UAE.

In a statement on X network, Milatović emphasized that his position was clear.

“I believe the Agreement is flawed in several aspects, including legal, economic and environmental issues, and that it should not be ratified by the Parliament in its current form,” Milatović stated. “To conclude with the words of Valtazar Bogišić – What is born crooked, time does not straighten.”
