Montenegro’s unemployment rate drops as job vacancies rise in early 2025

At the end of March, Montenegro had 29,970 unemployed individuals, marking a 2.8% decrease compared to February, according to data from the Employment Agency (ZZZ).

According to the ZZZ, the unemployment rate stood at 10.59% at the end of February, down from 13.27% in the same month last year.

In the first three months of this year, the agency recorded 2,580 newly employed individuals.

During the same period, a total of 6,740 job vacancies were advertised.
